Our client MTB recycling is a market reference in a non-ferrous metals recycling company. Due to possessing high value assets the company has been battling frequent burglaries, thus addressing security issues is not something new to them.
They already have installed 80 high resolution cameras and hired security guards to secure all their sites warehouses from burglaries. Despite all that effort, they have experienced the biggest burglary in the company’s history.
This burglary made it obvious that having security cameras and guards are not enough. Cameras only record and do not create any activity of actual protection as a result. Therefore, having a security guard on the other side of the screen has the task to action and eliminate the security threat.
Though, due to human error, such as falling asleep on duty, the opportunity to stop the burglary was missed.
